What are the Covid-19 travel restrictions for entering Switzerland?

There are currently no entry restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and no proof of vaccination, recovery or testing is required for entry into Switzerland. You can refer to Covid-19 travel information, issued by the Federal Office of Public Health, Switzerland to inquire about the specific entry requirements. 

Do I require specific travel documentation?

You can check the visa requirements for entering Switzerland, and track travel regulations pertaining to your citizenship, ports of travel and more, by looking at this tool by Sherpa.

Where can I find information about the venue/sessions of the conference?

The ACUNS Annual Meeting and Global Policy Dialogue will be hosted at the Graduate Institute of Geneva. Please refer to the ACUNS Annual Meeting 2022 program agenda for detailed information about the venue and room numbers. 

Where can I register for the Guided Tours and High Level Plenary Session of the ACUNS Annual Meeting?

All participants attending the high-level plenary at the United Nations must register on the United Nations Indico platform by Sunday, 19 June. When registering, all participants must select the Representation Type “ACADEMIA.” All UN access badges must be collected before 16:45 on 23 June for access to the Palais des Nations. 

If you wish to attend the 20-minute guided tour of the UN Geneva Library & Archives, please register with ACUNS in addition to above registration on the United Nations Indico Platform. 

Where can I find my delegate pack?

For in-person attendees: this will be given to you upon arrival at the GPD. 

For virtual attendees: we will send you an email prior to the conference. 

Where can I find refreshments?

Refreshments will be provided during the GPD (see agenda here). 

Travel and Stay during the conference 

How can I get to my hotel/conference venue from the airport/train station?

If you are arriving at the Geneva Airport (GVA), and you wish to use the bus, you may take the Line 5 bus for going to Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, or UN Geneva, then walk 10-14 mins for either destination. You may also wish to use a normal taxi or Uber for reaching your destination. Alternatively, you can reach the Graduate Institute of Geneva via an outbound train from the Geneva Airport, and then walk for 20 minutes. 

How will I transit between venues during the conference?

The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and the UN Geneva are located in close proximity, and thus can be accessed within a 5 min walk.

Please register for the ACUNS Annual Meeting, upon which closer to the date you will receive the Zoom link. The Zoom link will also be updated on this website. 

Do I need to download/install any software to be able to attend this event?

Please be sure to have an up-to-date version of Zoom on your computer. You can download it here

Is a webcam required?

We would appreciate it if you could keep your videos on for the duration of the Dialogue to facilitate better flow of conversation.
